I'm so sad to read of Bill's passing, I grew up with him in Trinidad, we were classmates at Queen' Royal college.I have of late decided to try and track down some of my old friends; wished I had started earlier.
I still have a picture of several of us that were in the Cadets, at camp in Tobago.
My condolences to the family.

Dear Jean and family: Please accept my sympathy on the death my former teacher, then colleague and friend of 39 years. I would not be living here in Canada without his help and that of the late Dr. Betty Steiner. He will not on,y be missed by you and family, but his former patients and colleagues. He was a brilliant Group Psychoanalyst , however, he remained a humble shy man that deserved much more recognition from the Dept.of Psychiatry at University of Toronto. He was an honourable man and true friend. May pleasant memories fill the wound created by his loss. With ki & sympathy, Jeremiah (Derry) Dolan MB. IABMCP, dip. fRCPC (ret)

A couple of weeks ago I recalled spontaneously my memories of Bill and Jean. They were very pleasant memories of wonderful townspeople, a respected colleague and eventually delightful patients. I was sorry to see you leave for Toronto, but knew it was for the best. My best thoughts and wishes now remain with Jean. Thank you again for so many happy memories. Mark

My condolences to the Stauble family. In the 1970s I was fortunate to have been in a therapy group at St. Michael's Hospital with Dr. Stauble. It was a profound experience and truly changed my life. It allowed me to make important choices and I will always be grateful that he shared his wisdom and caring with me.

We were deeply saddened to read of Bill's death in yesterday's paper. I'm a Trinidadian also, and worked with Bill as his secretary when I first moved to Toronto in 1965. Bill and Jean and their lovely family helped me greatly to settle into a new city. He was a calm, wise man with a wry sense of humour and an easy laugh. He and Jean were good friends to us. Our condolences to Jean and the family. What a loss. Please let us know about the celebration of his life.
