Obituary of Susan Garrard

Susan Garrard (nee Lennox) December 7, 1935 - January 29, 2016 Our wonderful mother passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by her parents, Charles Tuthill Lennox and Lillian Lennox Mathers, and by brothers Charles Lennox, John Lennox, and Andrew Mathers. Sister of John Mathers (Joan). Devoted to her children, Ted, Andrew, Mary (Bryan Auld), and Doug (Lindsay Garrard). "Gingerbread Grandma" to Grant and Heather Garrard, Charley and Megan Garrard, Brooke and Tory Auld, and India and Johnny Garrard. Predeceased by grandsons Justin and Daniel. We will deeply miss Mom presiding over our big family dinners, her uniquely crafted holiday gifts and her steady stream of Facebook Likes! Remembered by her many friends at 4000 Yonge Street, who could always count on Mom to take them shopping, to appointments or to run errands for them. A private family funeral will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
