Dear Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I am Bob Blatchford's daughter, Susie. I had spoken to your mother/ grandmother before Christmas, I think, and knew she had been in the hospital but I did not realize she was so ill. We were supposed to get together some time after the holiday's but sadly time passed by quickly.
I tried calling her today to find that her phone line was out of services. I then checked her facebook status to find out it was no longer there. So I did the obvious and searched the internet and found her obituary.
I am so deeply sadden by this new. Your mother was a wonderful, loving, caring person, someone I could easily talk to and open up to. She was a part of my life since I was a child as she played an important role in my fathers life as his good friend. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful things she did for my dad (even during his moodiness) and she never asked for anything in return. She gave so much of herself to everyone.
I will miss her very much and I am so sorry we did not have a chance to get together.
