Ian. We were so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. We so enjoyed sharing time with you both, particularly on our adventure in Washington a few years back. Carol and you were always gracious companions. A few weeks after returning from Washington we received a book on Ireland from Carol as a thank you for hosting. It was such a thoughtful gift; both unexpected and reflective of a short conversation Carol and I had on my family's distant ancestors. That small kindness was so reflective of you both.

Aunty Carol was a very special lady, and will definitely be missed by her family and friends. The creativity she brought to her artwork is well known, and I was fortunate to receive one of her handmade creations as a housewarming gift. She was a valued member of the Stewart clan, and I will always treasure her memory.

I only knew Mrs. Stewart through the loving way her daughter and my friend Penelope spoke of her. I so enjoyed hearing about their family trips together and about Penelope and her mother going to the ballet together. What a gift to have had such an amazing mother!

Auntie Carol was truly a gracious woman. We will remember her smiles & laughter forever. We are so happy we have some of her art crafts to remind us of her. One of her crafts was a wooden turtle chair that she painted for our daughter & now our grand daughter is enjoying it. We will miss you Auntie Carol.
