Obituary of Yoshiko Hinatsu

YOSHIKO HINATSU (nee Matsumoto)

June 4, 1925 – May 10, 2023

Bob and Yoshiko Hinatsu are together again. Yosh passed peacefully in hospital, joining her loving husband, Bob, who predeceased her in 2000.  She will be greatly missed by her son Glenn Hinatsu and daughter Connie Adair (Jim) and grandsons Alex Adair and Adam Adair, as well as sisters-in-law Mitzi Matsumoto (Tom) and Sumi Hinatsu (Vic), and brother-in-law Arnie Arai (Sadie) along with many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Dick (Amy), Tom (Mitzi), Sakaei, Ritz (May), Roy (Kay), Archie, Joe (Joyce) and sisters-in-law Sadie (Arnie) and Yoshiko Kobayashi (Kikuzo).

Yosh was a social butterfly, enjoying fun times spent with friends and family.  A celebration of life will be held at Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16^th.  In lieu of flowers or koden, please be kind to a stranger.  Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
