Our heartfelt condolences to all the members of the Smee family with the passing of Ken.
Ken , my brother-in-law , was heartily welcomed into our Dutch- Canadian family when he married my sister. He was immediately accepted as part of our small family. My parents were very impressed with Willie’s choice. As time went on, he indeed was the best husband , father and in-law we could have had.
We looked forward every year to when The Ruben clan and the Smee clan would get together in late August, first during camping weekends, then thru visits to the cottage in Kingston.
We celebrated yearly Willie’s, Mom and my birthday at the end of may. Sadly Ken will not be able to celebrate his mother-in-law’s 100th birthday next week.
Ken and Willie will not be forgotten.
