Dear Nadine, Amy, and Michael,
I recognized the name right away, and when is said Balsam Lake, I knew I was remembering the right person. I have very fond memories of you all, both at your home and at the cottage; and yes, Philip was always referenced when discussing his newest toys--tractors or otherwise. If I recall, too, you often spoke about vacations where you had to stop to see gravel pits on the way because that's what he wanted to see.
All the best,
Gary Kohl

Dear Nadine, Amy and Michael,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you Nadine, Amy and Michael. The three of you were real troupers in Philip's last chapter of his life.
He leaves an immense hole in the heart of everyone who knew him. A witty, quiet and gentle man with a great sense of humour that made everybody at ease whatever the circumstances. We've known him since 1971 and have great memories of our time together.

Greetings all. It is with heavy heart to have realized that last year was my last discussion with Phillip. He was a Rock Star! Beautiful, kind and generous human being.
Our condolences and prayers always with you all.

Nadine and family sorry to hear about Phils passing. I really knew him mostly through our Wednesday golf group and Canadian tournaments in Bonita . He was an integral part of our group and will sure be missed. Boy he could hit a long ball. To me a very quiet man but when he spoke you listened.
Our thoughts are with you family.

Dear Nadine, Amy, and Michael
The reflections on Philip's life captured so well the tiny share of him that we got to know. He was a special man. That much was clear from our first encounters with him and our secret weapon (you, Nadine!) - on the golf course - when we reigned victorious. It subsequently provided a showcase for Philip's resourcefulness as we jointly organized the following year's event. The absolute joy that Philip brought to a 100+ Canadians in Florida with a full complement of Tim Horton's favourites is a memory that will make us smile always. We know that a lifetime of memories will offer some respite from the missing that you are feeling.
Love, Gary and Marie

We would like to express our heartfelt wishes to Nadine, Michael, Amy and their families at a time when one of the kindest and most giving people we have ever known has been taken from our collective presence. Having spent many wonderful times with them all we came to love Philip's sense of self-deprecating humour and of fun. He was an extremely accomplished person who was most happy and content close to his Lindsay roots on Balsam Lake. Philip was the anchor of his family, both direct and extended.
Above all, Phil loved his Nadine. How he loved to tease her in his always-affectionate way. We will surely miss that twinkle in his eye, especially when he knew he was pulling Nadine's chain!
Even though Phil has gone to a better and more peaceful place we will always be grateful for the many wonderful times we spent together..
We will continually love, miss and think of Philip.
