Bobcaygeon, the summer I was 13. Coulter Osborne visiting my Uncle David Logan at our cottage, the 2 of them cooking up the idea that I had the potential to train as an Olympic swimmer. They also cooked up the plan to have David screw a piece of plywood to the end of the dock so I could practice my flip turns, which I did. Who was this laid back, friendly man who thought I had swimming potential? That is how I will always remember Coulter Osborne, and it was my great pleasure to have a few words with him, the same as I remembered, at my Uncle David's funeral in 2012.
