Obituary of Laurel Irene Southern

LAUREL IRENE SOUTHERN

May 12, 1930 – February 26, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurel (nee Coleshill) after an unexpected illness at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill. 

Loving mother of Sheryle LaChance and Sandra Atwood, a wonderful mother-in-law to Derek and Greg.  Loved by grandchildren Jason (Jacquelyn), Stephanie, Patrick and Christopher.  An inspiration to great grandchildren Chloe, Ava and Keira.  Remembered for her strength of spirit, love of family and kindness she showed to everyone.  The most vibrant 92-year-old you could ever meet.  She loved to dance on all occasions.  Missed and loved by family and many friends.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
