Dear Lori, Kevin and all the Woollings family,
My sincere condolences during this difficult time. I came to know Doug through his good friends Russ and Michael Bannock. I found Doug to be an engaged, fun and generous man. We used to meet for a "tea" at Buttonville Airport and talk planes, flying and all the adventures of life.
He will be sorely missed by many at CYKZ.

What can be said about Doug would take a book. He lived a very full and exciting life. Loved Laurice & all the kids to the moon and back. Taught those of us who worked for him about integrity and maybe even more important to love what you are doing and to do it well! He served up a few nice Irish Whiskeys but only after the clock past quarter to five! Rest in peace Doug and you will be missed.
Love to the family,
Vivien

We have fond memories of time spent with Doug and Laurice at their Huntsville cottage in the 1960's. He taught Don and I how to water ski, as well as fly us in his Piper Cub over the Huntsville area. Doug will be sadly missed by his cousins, Bruce, Don, Tom, and Gail.

Deepest condolences to the Woollings family. Doug (or the captain as I called him), was generous and inclusive to all that he met. We spent many good laughs chatting at the ski club, all watching Doug compete and win in so many ski races, inspiring his extended Hidden Valley family to keep up with him. He allowed me to hitch an airplane ride from Buttonville to Huntsville on many occassions…inspiring me to continue with my love of flying through his passion. Doug will have a long list of fans forever based on having lived, inspired, included and laughed throughout. He will be deeply missed by our family. Kevin, Julie, Ben, Jake and Matt Barnes (Fairy Lake)

Condolences from the Boughen Family to all of you. So many years of great ski club memories. I remember Mr. Woolings as always having a smile and a laugh, a kind and caring attitude and taking an interest in others at the club as well as being a proud dad. It’s not that long ago I remember him gearing up to try to win the 80+ category at the Club Championships! He will be missed.
