Wallace, Joan Marian (nee Taylor)
Passed away peacefully on February 15th 2023 on her 90th birthday at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, after a brief illness. Joan was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Loving wife of Robert Gordon Wallace for 67 years, dear mother of Ruth and her husband David McDonald, and John. Loving grandmother to Alasdair and Hamish McDonald. Funeral service to be held in the chapel at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Saturday February 18th at 3:00 P.M. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Interment will occur at a later date with a family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Back the Cat – North Hastings Hospital Fund Development would be appreciated.
