As a child of the 1960s growing up on Peninsula Lake in Huntsville my fond memories of Uncle Ron DeMara are coloured by images of him either driving or skiing behind a wooden boat. An avid sportsman whose pride in his 3 lovely daughters was exemplified in his wide grin. Memories of dinners at Deerhurst and cottage cocktail parties also include rather fast car rides into town for ice cream at Tasty Cream….Ron was always the life of the party and a non vivant . A life truly well lived.
