Obituary of Bryn Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our much-loved partner, father and grandfather.  Bryn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving partner and family, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Bryn was the younger son of Emrys and Meinwen.  Bryn cherished his parents’ Welsh heritage. He grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which will be his final resting place.

Bryn played for the Saskatoon Hilltops junior football team, proudly becoming Canadian National Champions on two occasions. He was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Engineering Science and was a Professional Engineer and Certified Management Consultant.  The bulk of Bryn’s professional career was dedicated to management consulting, where he was a senior partner founding and directing the Edmonton and Toronto offices of one of Canada’s premier boutique management consulting firms.   Subsequently he became an entrepreneur and accomplished golfer.

Bryn moved to Ireland in the 1990s where he met his partner Naomi before eventually returning to Canada.

He is pre-deceased by his older brother Trevor and his first wife Karen.  He is survived by his partner Naomi, his children Dana (Brian), Guy (Heather), Cara (Noaman) and Trevor (Christine) and his grandchildren, Rhys, Cassidy, Emily, Hayden, Jamie, Diane and Cara.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W.
