Diana Marcon

Obituary of Diana Marcon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Diana Angela Marcon on Wednesday December 14th at the young age of 59. Diana passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Diana is survived by her loving husband Paul Mayer, precious sons Matthew and Ryan, mother Agnese, sister Linda (Howard), Linda’s son Aiden Hughes, brother Dave (Susy), their children Brooklynn and Mason, and sister-in-law Nicola Mayer. She was predeceased by her father Narciso.

Diana was the epitome of thoughtfulness, generosity and kindness. Her kind and gentle heart fueled her soul in everything she did; her smile was contagious and she gave the best hugs. As the eldest child, Diana developed a deep sense of commitment, purpose and love from her parents which she brought to her own family with Paul, Matthew and Ryan.

She loved the outdoors, cottage life, travelling and baking loaves of sourdough bread from scratch. Diana partnered with Paul in running their business with such pride. She was always physically active including earning a black belt in Karate, practicing daily yoga, and caring for her flower gardens with meticulous attention to detail. Diana expressed her creative side through her exceptional musical talent, love of architectural design and creating digital holiday cards with her personal touch. She loved her pets, Spencer (deceased) and Charlie.

Diana fought against Acute Myeloid Leukemia in hospital for 7 ½ months with the utmost strength and will power. It was through sheer determination that she made it home to spend precious final days with her family. Diana will always be in our hearts. May she rest in peace knowing that she is by her father's side and will be forever loved by family and close friends.

Per Diana's wishes, a private funeral service will be held.
