Lisa - I have so many fond memories of your mom and her high energy, dynamic presence in all the big and small moments of your life. She was a cheerleader- always all in- always beautiful and kind- the kind of mother someone hopes for and wants to be. The story I have just read about her appendix and forging ahead reminds me of you and your tireless energy and work ethic.
I am sending love and peace to you all during this time of profound loss of such an important person in all your lives. What a woman and what a legacy. So much goodness alive in you all. xoxo Nancy Macdonald

Dear Lisa, Pam, Cheri and families
My condolences to you and your families.
I have many fond memories with your Mom.
She was my first ESL teacher in 1980 and I have always stayed in touch with her since then.
In 1981 we had a field trip to the CN Tower, where my Mom also got to know Mrs Grogan.
Mrs Grogan attended my Grade 12 graduation in 1985 and also attended my wedding in 1988.
In 1990 when my first child was born she visited my place and met the rest of my family.
I always called Mrs Grogan on her birthday and stayed in touch.
I was very blessed to have spent time with her during the last holiday season.
To me, she was my Guardian Angel and I will miss her dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
May her soul rest in peace.
Daxa Bilimoria

Thank you Daxa for your kind words. We learned so much about Mom through your stories. I know your Guardian Angel is looking down upon you and wishing you the best on your upcoming PSW exams. We dropped your beautiful flowers on top of her urn yesterday at the cemetery. It was wonderful to see you and Ashok at the funeral.
Love Pam, Lisa and Cheri xo

Thank you so much Alicia and Yadzia. My mom truly loved both of you and enjoyed visiting with you each and every time she saw you. We really appreciated your kindness when our mom was ill. You spoiled us with cranberry squares and perogies! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - Lisa Grogan-Green, Pam Taylor & Cheri Grogan & families.

Dear Lisa, Pam, Cheri, and families,
I’ve been thinking about your Mom / Nana a lot lately and enjoying the many wonderful memories I have of her. I thought about sitting around the living room at the old cottage, years ago, with your Mom eating a bottomless bag of peanuts while we all read, talked, joked, and laughed.
Another favourite memory is of ever vigilant Auntie Jane “co-piloting” the Greavette with Uncle Dal and being on the lookout for float planes trying to land in our path.
So many wonderful memories; I hope they are helping you as much as they are helping me.
Much Love, Jeff, Colleen, Hilary, Brian, Andrew, and Cassandra. xoxo

Regarding the Greavette, we also remember the stress when our dad was maneuvering the boat. He would yell out using a naval commander's voice, "Fend Off Aft!" And that's exactly what we would do to avoid a crash. That was on both the going out and the coming in. On the coming in, he would also usually hit the end of the boathouse so it's a surprise we didn't drive right through it. Then Uncle Bob no matter the wind would just glide the Greaette easliy in and out; no problem! Good times!

Thank you Tom & Laurie for your kind words. We had a beautiful funeral for Mom this past Friday with the organ, Christmas hymns and a soloist ringing through the halls. Yesterday we buried her ashes with Dad, Uncle Bob and their parents. We are grateful they are together for Christmas.

Our mom and dad so enjoyed planning Acorn Hill with Eddie & Tom. It was a true highlight for them and we will never forget it. Not to mention all the years of help and friendship before that. We hope you have a wonderful holiday and that we see you up north in the New Year. Thank you for your kindness always to our parents. - Lisa Grogan-Green with sisters Pam Taylor and Cheri Grogan

Our heartfelt condolences to the Grogan cousins and their families on the passing of their iconic mom Jane. Auntie Jane was my godmother, or “fairy godmother” as we would always joke. She was a loving and engaged great aunt to my son Adam who, loved seeing Jane and Dal at the cottage. Jane was a devoted and loving sister to my father Bob, it’s a one in million sister who gives a kidney to her brother! As described in her beautiful obituary, she was an utter dynamo ! She always had a sharp mind, a quick wit and a beautiful (lipsticked) smile. Together with my Mom Gwen Loudon (more like a sister than a sister in law), they orchestrated beautiful holiday celebrations for the Grogans and Loudons .. countless Christmas, Thanksgiving and family celebrations for our extended family in Muskoka and in the city. Even in palliative care her loving daughters ensured her hair looked great and her skin smooth and beautiful. Her loss to the Grogans and Loudons is immeasurable. There is solace in her being reunited with our equally iconic Uncle Dal and her brother (my Dad) Bob. Love to our cousins and their families xoxoxo
