I am sorry to hear of Carol’s passing, that moment no child wants to face. My heartfelt condolences to Jill and Gordon, Glenn, and to the families I often heard about.
Carol did it all with determination and grace.
Our families lived across the street from each other in a neighbourhood of young and growing families. Many times, Carol had special hugs for me when I most needed them. She always had time to listen to what you wanted to talk about and seemed be able to melt those worries on your mind. I fondly remember her kitchen and table where family and friends were nurtured, and many stories were told. I vividly hear her deep infectious laugh and will always remember these gifts Carol had. Carol faced many new challenges in life after Hank passed and after 8 years they are together again where they can continue to stir up the fun.
