Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Pilley

(née McConnell)

Margaret passed peacefully, on November 5, 2022, at the age of 100.  Beloved wife of the late Keith Pilley.  Loved mother to Gordon (Valerie) and Kathleen (Campbell).  Dearly loved Nana to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Margaret was predeceased by her parents William R. and Harriet (MacAulay) McConnell, her brother Alan and his wife Margaret, and their son Bill and daughter Barbara Braun.

Margaret was born in Regina, Saskatchewan.  She graduated from the University of Toronto and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity.  She and Keith lived in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. She enjoyed many volunteer activities and the many friendships she made.

The family would like to thank the staff at Amica Unionville for their kind, compassionate care.

At Margaret’s request there will be no funeral service.  Private interment will take place at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
