Obituary of John Marston Mills
John died peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on November 1, 2022. John is predeceased by his parents, Dr. W. R. Mills and Marjorie Marston. He is survived by his brother Gordon and family.
Having lived all of his life in Toronto, John graduated from the University of Toronto in 1952 and spent over 30 years as the Assistant Secretary of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He was interested in Electric Railways from a young age and was instrumental in forming the Ontario Electric Railway Historical Association in 1953.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (at Davisville) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10th. A service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
