Gary and Suzie, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have fond memories of how nice she was when looking after me in the afternoons following school. I can still remember the nice snacks she made, and remember her sitting in the den watching Little House on the Prairie. She was a wonderful person who really was a positive influence for me. Wishing you all the best,
Robert (Linas) Sinkus

I'm sorry to hear of Beverley's passing. My deepest condolences. I used to attend yoga classes and movie nights with Beverley. We also took weekly walks together when the pandemic started. She was a kind and wise friend and neighbour. She was a role model for staying active and engaged. I miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. As her neighbour at Harbour Square, she was always laughing and happy and totting off to fitness class or an event somewhere, She gave generously of herself to all who needed some kind of help and was always active in things to be done in the complex. Even in her struggles in the last year she never complained and always smiled. I am sure she is with the angels now lighting up a corner of Heaven.

Our deepest condolences.
When my husband and I arrived to Toronto and Harbour Square from Ottawa Bev opened her home and her heart to us as if I was her daughter. She wanted to teach me how to cook the delicious things she always offered me. She always had some delicious cookies or meal to offer me. She introduced me to people in the building, invited me to yoga and stretch classes (which she had been doing for years) and made me feel at home in Toronto. She helped me through the challenges when I had when I moved here. She was already ready to listen and offer advice when I asked for it. I miss her.

Gary, Susan and Families, I am so sorry for Aunt Bev's passing. As I've mentioned before, I have so many wonderful memories with her. From swimming in your pool with her at your house on Sea Island Path, to more recent visits at Harbour Square, to her visits to us in Alberta. She and I saw Paul McCartney in Toronto and we took a road trip to see Ringo Starr in Orillia, getting a flat tire on the way, and she didn't miss a beat. She came to Dad's 80th birthday in Edmonton without any hesitation. Such an adventurous spirit. If it was family or a travel adventure, Aunt Bev was there. I remember her love, her laugh and her smile. Love you Aunt Bev, rest well with Grandpa and Grandma, and until I see you again, Peter. xo

It's sad to lose a friend and Beverley was a good friend. For years she and I had our mats side by side at our fitness classes and we also shared jigsaw puzzles But more than that, Bev was just a good, friendly, kind neighbour and I will miss her. It was a joy having her as a friend.

On behalf of the Security Staff of HarbourSide, I wish to give our condolences to the Ackland family. Beverley was a caring person, always asking if a staff member was ok when she did not see them for a day or two. She was a valuable member of the Security Committee, and provided insight into solutions for the daily challenges that occurred.
We will miss her warm voice, cookies and laughter, something she shared with all.
Go in peace Beverley.
