Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Smith

SUSAN ELIZABETH SMITH

(née BIGELOW)

April 5, 1943 - October 10, 2022

Remembered with love by her children, Carolyn (Ian), Douglas (Raizel), and Deborah and by her grandchildren, Madeleine, Christian, Nicholas, Lulu, Ella, Gus and Henry. Susan was born and raised in Toronto but loved to travel the world with her parents and husband Joe, all of whom predeceased her.

Our mom will be remembered as someone who loved to laugh, even during her final days. She was generous beyond belief, devoted to her family and kind to all who had the great privilege of knowing her. We cannot thank Athalyn Cadougan enough for the care, devotion, and attention she has shown our mom over the last years of her life.

A private family service has been held. As children brought great joy to our mom's life, donations to Ronald McDonald House www.rmhctoronto.ca in our mom's name, Susan E. Smith would be graciously welcome.  Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
