In memory of Angela Stefanski

1956 – 2022

Angela ‘Angie’ Stefanski, aged 66, passed away suddenly on September 20 in the comfort of her home in Toronto.

Angie was born in Leicestershire, England to Margaret Eileen Stefanski (nee Dwyer) and Ryszard Stefanski. She leaves behind a daughter, Michelle Lonergan (Sean) and her beloved grandson, Keane, the joy of her life. She is survived by her sister, Jacquie Reader (Malcolm) and her nephews, Andrew (Lauren) and Justin. She will be missed by many friends and family in England and Canada.

My mom was a strong independent women who loved to travel and loved her family. We are happy to have had her so close in Toronto for the past 4 years. She was such a strong influence in my life, and I am happy that my son got the benefit of her in his life, if only for a short period of time.

A visitation will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments to follow. 

Although my mom did love flowers, she loved cats just as equally. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Toronto Cat Rescue (www.torontocatrescue.ca).  Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
