Cathy and family. Unfortunately, it has been a long time since we have connected. That’s what happens when seven years go by since my retirement I can’t tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Paul and you Cathy, were a big part of our lives for many years. He was brilliant and very successful representing Scotiabank in numerous situations and files. He had the respect of all of us there including our very most senior people. Many of the things Paul accomplished for us are still relevant and producing benefits. He really was one of a kind. I had a number of experiences where I asked Paul to deal with the most senior business leaders in the country with whom he was very successful and respected. In addition to being extremely effective he also had very fine insight and business judgment. In my life prior to Scotiabank, he was one of the most influential people to me in Helping make decisions on the development of BCE/Brookfield Place. Two examples that were very important are whether to build three or two buildings on the 5 acre site and what type of decision maker/client/tenant we were to look to attract. Sorry for going on, there are so many stories. I was pleased to hear that you are going to have a celebration of life. I look forward to seeing you then, if not before. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
