Obituary of Terence James McGowan
TERENCE JAMES MCGOWAN
June 30, 1942 – August 13, 2022
Terence passed peacefully in his 80th year at his home in Toronto. Beloved partner of Gail Lumber. Loving father of sons Sean Terence McGowan and daughter-in-law Anita McGowan and Patrick Michael McGowan and his partner Lisa Rocci, step daughter Jennifer Anne McGowan and her partner Robert Guitard. Lovingly remembered by granddaughters Katy May McGowan and Liana Silvana Rocci.
Terence enjoyed a 57-year career as an architect and a 47-year volunteer commitment to Scouts Canada.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Monday, August 22nd from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for a visitation. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:30 a.m. A private interment will occur at Prospect Cemetery.
