When I think of Carm, her big smile, deep laugh, quick wit, generosity, sharp memory of people and special moments, and her zest for life and travel come to mind and warm my heart. We met at a workplace in the late 60s and stayed connected through the decades with lunch visits and then phone calls following retirement. She was truly a dear special friend and I will miss our chats and not receiving yearly cards from her as she never forgot my anniversary and birthday. Her passing diminishes the light around all those who loved her.
