I first interacted with Mr. Welland in Grade 1, when he and Ms. Robinson stopped by my class with Mr. Mack (my home room teacher). Mr. Welland was always serious but an extremely nice person whenever I spoke to him over the years, even after graduating elementary, high school and college. I will miss seeing Mr. Welland teaching the kids in the field at Parkdale Public School, and him stopping me to say hi and talk briefly about how my life was/is going. I am sadden to hear that Mr. Welland is gone. May your soul rest peacefully... You will be remembered, Mr Sean Welland.
