I am still struggling to accept that Graham has left us only a short while after his amazing mum, my dear friend Susan, passed away. These two people, so intertwined together yet so strong as individuals, have been an ever present inspiration to me. Graham’s radiant, genuine smile, his love of life, his drive and will to tackle new challenges, his deep love and attachment to his family are only a few of the characteristics that made Graham so very special. Although my heart is hurting, dear Graham I will always hold a space for you there.

I can see his huge smile, hear him saying my name in greeting, feel his bone-crushing hug. His affectionate nature blazed out of him like morning sunshine, a spillover from the fierce love his mother poured into him. Graham has the distinction, and always will, of being the person in my life who paid me the highest compliment. We were at a party, and he asked my husband if he could cut in on a dance. As he waltzed me away, he said over and over, “I can’t believe he gave you up.” Weeping to remember. Love you Graham, you kind, beautiful, shining boy.

Graham was such a light to those around him. I felt very close to him in the brief years we spent together. I will always remember his epic smile, how he loved those around him, especially his family. I am saddened to learn about this loss and hold all memories I have with him dearly. Visits to Toronto Islands, music jam, going to the gym and of course Star Trek TNG.

First of all my deepest condolences to all those affected by this loss.
It has been a pleasure getting to know Graham since May 2022. Graham was a very welcoming to me when I came to support him and his roommate. He was very patient and kind. We have been through good times and sad times. I just know that he was always a fighter. He has that Mackenzie blood apart of him. You had a gift of music and of Star Trek. I would watch different Star Trek movies and shows when not participating in programs. We would go outside to the Madison View garden and water the plants. It has been a pleasure to see you grow. I know that you not on this earth but I know that your memory will live long. As Spock said in the Wrath of Khan movie " I have been, and always shall be, your friend."
Live long and prosper.
Your friend Krys.

It was an honour working with you, you where a funny and caring person, and had friends where ever you went (a social butterfly). I can’t believe how many people you knew at Variety Village. I am glad I got to know you.

When Youth 2 Work started over 20 years ago, Graham was not only an original participant, but he also was the definition of why the program was created. He was a youth who wanted to explore his city, meet new people, learn new things and contribute to his community. He did just that. He was literally the poster person for Community Living Toronto, he spoke at Queen's Park on Community Living Day and wore his Youth 2 Work t-shirt proudly to his many community activities.
His love of life, enthusiasm and energy touched so many people. You will be missed Graham.

I can't believe you've left us! I'm devastated. There are no words I can utter that will ease the pain of your absence, which is deeply present in the hearts of all your nearest and dearest family members and friends. I offer them my deepest sympathy and condolences. May the joy your presence brought to others who knew you, bring each one of us special comfort during this difficult time. We will miss you and we will never forget you. Rest in peace.

I will remember Graham for his resilience and the positive light he always brought to any intentional or chance encounter. You could always feel the warmth of his character when he looked at you and always made an effort to connect even through a few words in response to "how are you doing?" I can never think about Graham without thinking about Susan and the incredible bond they shared. I feel privileged to have been part of Graham's community living journey with his family who have always been present and supportive. Thinking of you and hoping that all the wonderful memories you have will carry you through...

I am saddened to hear of Grahams passing. He was one of the first people I ever met when I got hired with CLTO nearly 20 years ago. I supported him at College, volunteer opportunities, and travelled with him to and fro on the TTC. No matter how seeminly bad a day was going, Graham was truly a beacon of light - always smiling, always joking, always positive.
His smile was definitely in the top ten smiles of ALL TIME worldwide. :o)
He touched my heart and I am so lucky to have worked with him. My deepest condolences to his incredibly dedicated and loving family and all the workers who took part in his care.

It was a shared love of Ed sheeran and country music that got me.
Grahams sincere gratitude for every little support he was giving in life and every interaction he had no matter how small shows the type of person he was.
If we could all leave behind such kindness when we go, the world would be a much brighter place.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the Mackenzie family and friends at this difficult time.
From all at Madison, Graham will forever hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

Please accept my deepest condolences to family and friends of Graham - it is a profound loss that we share. One of my fondest memories was watching Graham and his support worker through Youth 2 Work, Cassie bustle around Shadow Lake Centre, taking care of the grounds with so much pride and accomplishment. He put 100% into everything he ever did and managed to find the good in everything and everybody. His loving spirit will be forever missed and the humbling lessons he taught us will never be forgotten.

To Graham's family, we (the staff at Community Junction) want to send our absolute heartfelt condolences. We loved having Graham light up the room while jamming out during Music Jam programming. If we weren't jamming out, we were clinking drinks and living for the foodie side of Graham during Pub Night. Programming will never be quite the same without your light, book of jokes or hilarious one-liners. You will be deeply missed by all of your friends here at the Junction ❤️

To Amanda, Stephen and Grant, thank you and please keep each other close and we will get through our sadness and the happy memories will sustain us.
Graham was a special soul, I was honoured to be one of his caregivers for almost 16 years. He brought light and laughter into my life. I was proud to help him to enjoy his life, his friends and the activities he persuded.
I was fortunate to be included by his mother, Susan and Graham into the MacKenzie family. There will always be a part of my heart that is richer because Graham graced my life. Graham’s humour was one of the things that he shared with us, whether it be corney jokes from one of his many joke books or just his way of bringing a smile to our faces.
For all of us, he will live on in our memories...let me toss a flower on the water because I loved him.

Graham was a light in this world. His optimism and joy was contagious. I will always remember him playing the bongos with fervent enthusiasm during his Music Jam program. It was an honour to support Graham these past few years. He will be deeply missed at unit 106. Rest in peace my dear friend.
