Obituary of Elizabeth Sinclair Dickson

On July 18, 2022 Elizabeth (Betty) passed away peacefully with family by her bedside in her 105th year.

Betty is survived by her children Margaret (Allan), Liz and daughter-in-law Darlene.  Grandchildren Paul (Nadia), Pam (Dennis), Ian (Lindsay), Lindsay, Joanna (Rob), Andrew (Cory) and Christine (Paul).  Great grandchildren Dylan, Reid, Claire, Diana, Jordan, Scott, Harrison, Abby and Edison. Predeceased by her husband George, son James, great grandson Cameron and son -in-law Alan.

She will be fondly remembered as a loving person who was kind to everyone she interacted with. Her love for her late husband George set an example for all her family to strive towards in their own relationships. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all her loved ones and was always up for a visit and a cup of tea.

Betty was a resident of the Belmont House for nearly 20 years and received exceptional care by all the staff. Betty’s family wishes to extend our deepest gratitude for the incredible care she received up until her last moments.

Respecting Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial grave side service will take place for friends and loved ones on July 27, 2022 at 11:00am at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (375 Mt. Pleasant Road, Toronto). Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
