Obituary of Frank John Polan

Frank John Polan born Dec 7, 1935, passed away June 6, 2022. After a short but hard-fought battle with cancer Frank passed away peacefully and on his own terms with his wife Maria by his side. Maria was his partner in life for the last 45 years and the two of them were inseparable, yet so different, both would say what they had most in common was their love and respect for each other. 

Frank was born and raised in Toronto, lived a long and colourful life, filled with cars, motorcycles, computers and travel. He had strong values and opinions and stayed true to himself to the very end. 

He will be sadly missed by his children Mike, Bruce, and Cheryl. Grandchildren Sean & Stephanie, Alison & Heather, and Mitchell. Great grandchildren Ashton & Lily and his two siblings Michael and Joanne. Frank will be joined on this final journey by his beautiful baby great granddaughter Eir (May 31 2022).

As per Franks wishes there will be no formal celebration of life, but instead we will hoist a wee dram of his favorite single malt Scotch and toast to his memory.
