Sharing my condolences to The Ibe Family. To Jasper, thank you for being able to bless the parties and events where EY Media DJ’d for us, my cousins 18th bday, FSAT affiliated events etc. For chilling during the raptors game back in the day, and various other chill moments we shared. In January 15, 2022, my dear son Jasper celebrated his 47th birthday in Honolulu with Jay (the pilot), Honolulu resident cousins of Jasper Jijo Nilo and his wife Marla at Sensei Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar. I know Jasper thoroughly enjoyed this Hawaii trip with 24 other family members on the Nilo side of our family. I know he was extremely happy to finally meet for the first time his goddaughter Aria and godson C3 and played with goddaughter Avery again. He also said he loved the times he spent with his Ninong Gus (my eldest brother) sharing stories of his trips to take pictures at car shows, our first trip after lockdown to spend New Year Eve in Riverside CA. It was our first trip together after his dad’s death and I have to admit he was an excellent travel buddy. He really proved that he is very serious about his promise to his dad to take very good care of me and my needs. Before he passed away on Sunday, he came to my room to ask the dates of our planned trips so he can file for his vacation. He reminded me about my promise to him that we will again jointly celebrate our birthdays in Honolulu in 2023. Sadly, all these plans are now mere memories. After reading so many comments on Jasper’s FB wall, my heart although broken from losing him at his prime, am extremely proud of his positive impact and influence on the DJ and photography communities here in Toronto and in the states. He is a very unforgettable person to anyone he meets. Mommy loves you so much Jasper. I know you and Daddy will take care of Nessa, Amber and me. Ezra has been looking for his Uncle Jasper.

Condolences to the family on the passing of Jasper. He and I both enjoyed photography and food and I was blessed to have met him a few times and joke back and forth on social media often. He was a very kind soul and wonderful human being, as evidenced by the many many dear friends he had. I'm sure he's looking down at us, smiling and enjoying some Haluhalo. Rest in Peace.
