Obituary of Kaljo Suld

With great sadness we announce Kaljo (Kal) of Scarborough, Ontario passed away on May 7, 2022 in his 84th year. Kaljo was married to his dearly loved wife, Aasa, for over 60 years. He adored his children, Clifford (Elizabeth) and Ingrid. His eyes beamed brightly whenever he was with his grandchildren, John, William and Alexander. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and caring staff at the Centenary ICU.

The family will greet visitors at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel on Friday, May 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Kaljo's final service will be on Saturday, May 14th at his beloved Toronto Estonian Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. The family has asked that masks be worn.

If you wish to make a donation in memory of Kaljo, he had requested funds to be sent to support Ukrainian Refugees in Estonia. The war in Ukraine brought back his own personal memories of fleeing Estonia with his mother when he was six years old. He felt a deep desire to support those now living through this similar trauma.
