Obituary of Catherine (Kit) Joyce Brayshaw
Passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, in her 95th year, on March 3, 2022.
Beloved wife, married on Valentine’s Day for over 68 years to David Herbert. Proud daughter of the late Dora and William Brooks. Loving mother of Elen (Martin Silver) and Nancy Dempsey. Devoted grandma to Catherine, Tyler (Stephanie), Kristen (Nick), Colin (Ainsley) and Jennifer (Paul). Loving great-grandma to Brooke, Connor, Sean, George, Ella, Everleigh and Regan. Dear sister to Jean Collier (deceased) and Mary-Jane Chapman. Catherine will be remembered for her love of life and family. Catherine enjoyed her work life with Elen Henderson and retired as a law clerk with The City of North York.
Services at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville), on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 a.m. Condolences and memories may be forwarded to: www.humphreymiles.com.
