Obituary of Phillip Christopher George
On February 27, 2022 at 74 years of age, Phillip passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Until his last days he was supported by his loving wife, Annetta (Margie) and surrounded by his son Evan and his daughter Holly.
What was most cherished to Phillip was his family, and the one love of his life, Annetta. He met her in high school, and once smitten he committed all his personal energy to her fulfillment. Their dedication to each other lasted fifty-four years, and during that time they were inseparable.
Phillip worked as a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 30 for over 50 years. He was a loyal hard working member of the business. Phillip was an avid car enthusiast and loved his long road trips to the countryside with his family and the enjoyment of having three family dogs and a cat.
To sum up his life, we will never encounter someone so committed to his wife, family, friends and associates. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of his company. We know that you are flying up!
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd. At the request of the family, face masks are to be worn.

If anyone would like to make a donation on his behalf, we know he would appreciate a donation to the Princess Margaret Foundation.
