Dear Betty, Kenny and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. George was so well liked and deeply respected. I worked with George for a number of years when we worked together in Carmen's group. He always made everyone laugh and he was always there to help a colleague out when they needed it. Even though I had not spoken to him for a number of years, I will always remember him with fond memories. May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences, Nadine Azran

Dear Betty, Kenny & Family, I am so truly sorry to hear such sad sad news! My deepest condolences to you and your families.
I have so many wonderful memories with George, just thinking about them brings a smile to my face! We worked together for many years during the Carmen days. One thing was always for certain, he could always make me laugh. He had quite the wit! He was unlike anyone I had ever met before, so unique! When I needed someone to listen, he listened. When I needed a second opinion, he offered it. When I needed a laugh, I could always count on him. We both loved to talk about Disney because of all the great memories it gave us about our families. I loved talking about my children & he loved talking about Kenny.
I am so happy to have known George and am thankful for our friendship, the great memories, all the countless laughs and so many good times which I will cherish forever! I really miss you George!...Linda

I am so sorry to hear this sad news.
I knew George through CIBC softball. For years, the fearless “HR Titans” would battle George and his mighty “VISA Card Sharks” but he would always get the last laugh (even in the annual London tournament).
He was one of the craftiest players I ever faced. I remember one game where he was playing infield with runners on first and second. The batter hit a routine soft liner (not more than 8 feet off the ground) right to him at waist height. He alertly turned his glove sideways to make the ball bounce and then caught it after it bounced in the dirt and turned to initiate the triple play, but the umpire immediately quashed things by exclaiming “NO, NO, NO – that’s an infield fly”. George innocently lifted his arms, gave that “George” smirk and said “WHAT?”… Everybody laughed, but they still won the game.
Eventually I ended up caving in and joined the Card Sharks to play alongside my nemesis to learn from the master.
I enjoyed working with George over the years to keep the softball league going and marveled at his expertise when dealing with league disputes.
He will be missed.

Dear Betty,
We are so sorry to hear about George and are truly sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.
I have many great memories of playing ball with him and marveling at how his hair was always flowing as he went to snag the baseball or haul in the football.
All those Leafs games we saw sitting up in the nose bleed section over the years at the Maple Leaf Gardens but never actually see them win one.
I still remember the night that you called in for an authorization and George was talking to you, I don’t think he ever got off the phone with you till our shift was over and he had this smile on his face afterwards and when you were pregnant with Kenny all he did was talk you and baby at lunch for months, a proud father and husband!
May he rest in peace - he is deeply missed.

Dear Betty, Kenny and family, I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of George. What a tremendous loss to all those who knew George. George was the reason why I was employed at CIBC. He gave me an opportunity to start my career with CIBC and was my first boss. For that I will forever be grateful. Through the years we became friends and we shared some wonderful memories which I will always cherish. Kenny, he was so proud of you and often talked about you with a gleam in his eyes. Thank you George for being the person you are and I will miss you......Ronnie D'Souza

Dear George, It brings me great sadness to hear of your passing. When I joined the bank way back in 1978 or as we like to say it “back in the day” you quickly became a great friend. You taught me lots and oh boy did you have a lot patience. All concerts we enjoyed together like Elton, the Stones and let’s not forget the WHO. Every time those guys broke up and got back together we were there. You took me to my first and only hockey game. And let’s not forget all the practical jokes you liked to play on me. Sooooo many good times George and I’m sorry life got in the way and we lost touch. You’re a wonderful person who will be missed by so many.
To Betty, Kenny, Dustin, Tyson and the entire Noguchi family my prayers and thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Wendy and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of our friend George. I have such such fond memories of George that date back to when I was a teenager. He would always get me my Concert tickets at Maple Leaf Gardens. Reds Row M Seats 1-2. He placed $2.00 bets for me at Greenwood behind his dad's back as Chuck would not let me bet. He always said if my dad finds out heaven help both of us. He often showed me some of the pictures he took at concerts. I still have a photograph he took at Maple Leaf Gardens of Supertramp. He always talked about the yearly trip ho took with friends to wherever the Grey Cup played. He had such a subtle sense of humour. Quick with the one liners. I could go on and on.
To Betty, Kenny. Denise, Joy and Kenny our thoughts are with you.
A good friend gone to soon.

We are just completely saddened to hear about George.
George and I first met in the halls down in the basement at 750 Lawrence in the late 80's and it was unusual running into another Asian with long hair (lol) and soon we developed a friendship through work and baseball.
The one thing I will also remember of George besides his friendship is his advise to always be true to yourself and to keep it real.
Betty, Kenny and family, we are truly sorry for your loss.
God bless.

Dear Betty, Kenny and Family....please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of dear George. I have such fond memories of our days together at CIBC. We spent most of our time talking sports, especially our Leafs. George put so much time, effort and love into everything he did - the infamous hockey pool! One thing I can say for sure, Kenny was his shining star. Whenever George and I spoke, it was always first about Kenny, then everything else. We chatted by email on January 13 and he told me how proud he was of Kenny. Please know that George made a lasting impression on me, as a kind, loving and intelligent man. He was a true friend. I will hold him and you close to my heart always.
