Obituary of Guerino (Rene) Paul Marmoreo

After a long and courageous battle with COPD, Guerino (Rene) Paul Marmoreo passed away peacefully on the afternoon of January 8, 2022, at Sunnybrook Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and best friend to many. He is survived by his devoted wife Janice, his children Lara, Jean Paul (Kate) and Ryan (Britt), and grandchildren Riley and Wyatt. He leaves behind his brothers, Charles (Bonnie) and Michael (Gail), his sister Christina (Brian), sister-in-law Carol (Leo) and brother-in-law Lorne (Mary), as well as many nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

Given the new Covid restrictions and reduced capacity limits a private funeral will take place by invitation only, held on Friday, January 14, 2022. Visitation at 10 am, funeral service at 11 am at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville). Proof of vaccination and masks are required for all attendees.
