Obituary of Edna Ruth Dunsmore

EDNA RUTH DUNSMORE

With sadness we announce the death of Edna Dunsmore (nee Ledsham), peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 18, 2021.

Predeceased by beloved husband, Thomas Dunsmore.  Survived by her children, Dana (Jusie) Dunsmore, Nadine Dunsmore, Trace (Rebekah) Dunsmore, and many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Born October 4, 1920 and raised in Toronto, with many summers spent on Georgian Bay, Edna most appreciated her family and friends.  An avid volleyball player, skier, tennis player, bridge, Scrabble and crossword puzzle enthusiast, Edna was active, and remained of sharp mind throughout her life.  She brought cheer to many, and will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel Ltd., 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville), from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24^th.  A service will be held at 11:00  a.m. followed by a reception.  Private interment will follow.  Proof of full vaccination, accompanied by ID, are mandatory for those age 12 and older.  Masks are required.
