I knew Rita (and Ross) as wonderful family friends of my late Aunt Mercia and Uncle Bob, for many years. I am saddened to hear of Rita's passing (over a year later) and know my parents, who lost touch with her, will be too: I thought of her today and found the obituary. She had an excellent, and now I know, exciting life - I am not surprised, she was a brilliant, dynamic woman, and I often think of her funny stories and how she lit up a room and made us laugh every time we saw her. Albeit late (Rita wouldn't be surprised as I am my father's daughter), we will drink today in memory of her remarkable and fulsome life.
