We knew Jan for 9 years, meeting Janet and him on a Rhine River cruise and have stayed in touch since for our home in Sydney, Australia. We were able to visit them when we were in Canada and enjoy their friendship. We were also pleased to be able to visit their cottage on the lake and so road trips in Canada and the US with them. We were lucky to be able to host them when they came to Australia. Good times. We will miss Jan. Deanna and Murray.

To Janet and family, Winsome and I send our condolence on the passing of Jan. We will keep you all in our prayers. Sharing a short tribute to Jan. Got the chance to work alongside Jan as one of the Wardens at St .Barnabas Anglican Church . This is where I really got the opportunity to know him. He was a tireless worker behind the scene .So many times he took me through the Church and Rectory pointing out areas that will periodically need to be checked.. Jan was a person filled with information about the church and passed parishioners .Was a great person always happy to be in his presence. Miss you Jan. R.I.P. Everod & Winsome.
