I worked with Doreen at the Diocesan Book Room in the late 1970's. I remember her kindness to all, even when mistakes at the cash and late paying account holders made her job more difficult than necessary. I also remember her lending her tent to my husband and I, at the time two cash strapped newlyweds, so we could go on a dreamed of camping honeymoon to the Carolina Outerbanks. Our condolences to her family at the loss of such a kind and lovely person.
