I can’t say how much we will all miss Kristine. Her humour at every gathering. Always caring for all of us. She was a little intimidated by motherhood at first. “You saw me. I checked him at 8:30 and he was breathing”. She quickly grabbed the position by the horns and cared for her children and their friends and friends’ families and everyone else who came by. A girl guide leader. She taught her children to be themselves and took such joy in watching that happen. Her family, in return, supported her as she continued to be herself through her illness making choices that suited her when life was no longer giving her the choices that she deserved to have. Her words of wisdom will stay with us all forever. TURN IT DOWN! I have a mixed tape named that filled with her favorite songs that I will treasure always.
