CYRIL STANLEY PUDDISTER

February 2, 1927 - August 18, 2021

R.C.R -Special Forces – Korea

Cy passed away at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jane (2011). Brother to the late Jack and (Mildred) Puddister and the late Dorothy and (Butch) Bouchard. Dear father of Christine and Brian Snider, Catherine Puddister and Nicola Nossiter. Very proud grandfather of Mitchell and Christine, Matthew and Jillian, and Alexander. Dear friend of Doris Adams. Dad will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and Comrades from Legion Branches 22, and 171.

Dad was born in Toronto to the late John and Ethel (Cluney) and spent some of his early years in Sudbury. Cy was part owner of Superior Crane, and he and Mom spent a lot of time at Eel's Lake where they built a cottage in the 50's, that we continue to enjoy. In retirement they spent their winters in Florida.

We would like to thank the nurses, doctors, front line staff and Father Jim (Padre) at the Veterans Centre for their care and support. His last day was spent releasing a Monarch butterfly that he had nurtured with the incredible Recreational staff.

Good night Darlin'
