Norma Alice Maude Paterson Walsh
June 3 1931 - August 20 2021
Norma Alice Maude passed away peacefully in her 90 th year at Chartwell Wynfield long term care residence .
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children Jeff(Carmen ) Scott.
Norma was predeceased by her dearest sister Vera Sutton ,and her first husband Frank Paterson the love of her life ,and Nan her beloved sister in law (George )
Norma was lucky later in life to find happiness with her second husband Allan Walsh who will miss her dearly as will his son Russell (Sharon )
As a young woman Norma had many adventures with her sister Vera ,including travelling to England by boat ,and almost becoming a professional Opera Singer .
Norma chose the family life instead ,helping with the family business ,raising her boys and enjoying many family trips to warm destinations .
Family was important to Norma ,she will forever be known as a fun and adventurous Nanny ,who was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in ,this is a trait she passed on to her cherished grandchildren Melanie ,Amanda (Mark )Christopher (Miska )Brittany ,Hope (John)and Ariel(Andrew) proud Great grandmother to Reily,Saje,Tanner, Nessa, Jude,Isla and Ryan,and beloved aunt to Diane ,Ellie,Catherine,Jim and Great Aunt to Dee Dee and Darlene
A LIMB HAS fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me
remember the BEST TIMES, the laughter, the song
the good life I lived while I was STRONG.
