We were devastated by the news as we have such fond memories of Taylor and of our families at the rink, out of town tournaments, and hockey family gatherings. Those early years were important, special and forever in our hearts. Taylor was such a compassionate boy. One night when Taylor was at our house, Daryn hugged Jacob goodbye because he was leaving for his night shift. Taylor said, “I’ll give you a hug, too, Coach Daryn!” And he did. It made my heart melt. He was that kind of soul and we will never forget him. Peace be with you during this difficult time.
