Arthur contributed much to my personal landscape. In this picture, Barbara Starr, Manuel Machado, and Rohan Walters, Alan, and Arthur shared many smiles and stories. Whether that conversation was about Toronto culture, design, and architecture or about life in general. It was a privilege to know him. ... This photo memory was taken around September of 2010 as we celebrated the completion of Alan and Arthur's glorious deck and its contribution to the landscape that enlivened one of Toronto's lovely ravine parks.
