What can I say about our beloved friend, Shirley? She will be forever missed, and loved. One of the most wonderful people I have ever known. She and my mum had become great friends. I'll never forget, on the day my mum passed away, Shirley dropped everything to come to be by her side, and to comfort us. She started up a Saturday morning brunch group, and kept it going, even after she retired. It was something my mum and I unfailingly attended!
Shirley also officiated at my sister's wedding. As a minister, Shirley was without equal. It was very apparent, how much she cared for others. It was because of Shirley, that I started attending church again, after many years. So Shirley, dear friend to us all, I want to wish you, the Greek expression, Kalo Paradiso, for a wonderful time in heaven!
