Sending peace and sincere condolences to you Fiona, Jenny, Anita, Greg, the Huang and Lau families for the loss of your dear Mum, and sister, Evelyn.
I remember your Mother as a vibrant, generous beauty who welcomed me warmly as I ventured from Vancouver to Toronto. As a restless youngster, just out of my teens, I boarded an eastbound train, made several stops along the way, before my final destination, Canada's most intimidating city, Toronto. I had been given a message that I should wait at the train station entrance in Toronto.
It was just a few minutes after arriving in this big strange city, that a silver Ferrari pulled up in front of me. Michael leaped out with a great big smile, greeted me then whisked me off to your beautiful home. Instant family! Evelyn gave a place to begin my journey with all of you Anita, Fiona, Jenny, and Greg being just the most darling little sisters and brother (no doubt putting one of you out of your room). As the years pass my memories from that time has become a little foggy but the feeling of warmth and family from Evelyn and all of you still remains.
Your mother was a force of nature with the four of you remaining a great legacy to her extraordinary life. Tonight look up, there is a new star in the heavens.
