Obituary of Dolores "Lolita” Domingo Candela

Russo, Dolores Lolita (nee Candela) in her 84th year, went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on March 19th. Daughter of Emilia (Candela - deceased), loving sister to Paco (Albaladejo-deceased, Janet) and Merche (Albaladejo-deceased) of Barcelona, Spain, beloved mother to Carlos (Efstathiou, Lynn Metcalf).

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Dolores immigrated to Toronto in 1966. She worked for RBC for 34 years.

We are grateful to the many caregivers, doctors and nurses at both Toronto General and Mount Sinai hospitals, as well as the members of her Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). To her many friends in Toronto and Barcelona THANK YOU for bringing light into her recent difficult days. She loved you all so.

A private memorial service will be held at Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel on Bayview Avenue on March 29th, followed by her interment at Mount Pleasant cemetery, with her mother.
