Someone so special can never be forgotten. Without Professor Pesando's support and mentorship during my first-year studies at the University of Toronto back in Fall 2019, I would not be where I am today. I got to know Professor Pesando when I visited him during his office hours every week for that term. From these weekly interactions, I had the chance to learn more about Professor Pesando's resiliency with his prior battle with cancer. As a student of disability, his story inspired me to try my hardest even when the odds are not in my favour. He has taught me more than just microeconomics, and his confidence in me during my lowest times allowed me to get back up on my feet. Thank you, Professor Pesando, for everything, I am and will be forever grateful for you. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
