My deepest sympathies to Helen and Doug and your families on the loss of your mom. Aunt Nan was so full of life that it is hard to imagine that she is no longer with us. I have so many good childhood memories of our visits to Pinebrook Ave. She lived a good, full life and I’m sure she is now at rest with Uncle Vince and all her/our previous departed family members. Virtual hugs to both of you, take care.

Dear Helen, we met Annie only a couple of times but I remember how bright her personality was, full of energy and fun and strength, just like you. I loved seeing the photographs of Annie with your father and the family. Please accept our sincere condolences. Diti & John

My deepest condolences go to you Doug and Helen and family on the loss of your wonderful, loving mother Nan.I will miss her terribly and the chats we had,a lot of them,on the phone and in her home in younger days.no matter what time you called her she was always there for me,just a minute Betty till I get my tea.We worked together in the 1950's at Simpson's Department Store Sales Audit Dept shortly after she met the love of her life,my brother Vince. We were sister-in-laws by name but sisters from the heart.Rest in peace Nan your pain is over,I will always remember your sense of humor and your love of Ireland and in the Springtime when the forget me nots come up from the ground and how beautiful they were in the forests of Ireland, till we meet again love...Betty

So sorry to hear of Nan’s passing. She was a wonderful spirit. Everyone who came into her orbit could feel her warmth and high energy. With her booming voice and sense of humour you always knew Nan was near.
I first got to know her better first at Foresters. She made sure to hunt me out and declare that we were actually family through her nieces Deborah and Janice. While I didn’t see much of her in the intervening years I always asked about her, wondering how she was doing. She left a big impression. Condolences to her family. I know she will be greatly missed.
Sue Priestman.

Doug and Helen & family
As you both know your mom was a very special lady, wife, mother and Granny. We loved her sense of humor, wit, kindness and generosity. We have fond memories of Aunt Nan and will miss her.
"Though her smile is gone forever
And her hand we cannot touch.
Still we have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Her memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part.
God has her in His keeping
We have her forever in our hearts."
