To my pastor and dear friend, my brother in Christ, my sincerest ‘Thank You” for our sharing God’s love throughout many years together, through joys and blessings, for the wonderful conversations in the past few years, your subtle sense of humour, always leaving me with a chuckle for the rest of a day. But, above all, for your being alongside Bruce & me at the time of our young son’s passing. I remember your words of intention at the following Eucharist, “We give thanks for the life of Paul Fawcett” and so these are my words today, “I/we give thanks for the life and ministry of your good and faithful servant, Canon Logan Varey”. May he Rest In Peace and rise in glory!
