Dear family,
My name is Carina.
I had the privilege of meeting Jackie through my brother Rocky.
The room immediately filled with love when I met her. She spoke with such grace and elegance.
You could feel her abundance.
My children both were deeply affected by knowing Jackie too.
They surfed with her in North Carolina.
Ate lobster with her, walked the beach with her, and listen to her heart as it did overflow with joy for everyone.
I will never forget her unwavering love and support of my brother when he had his open heart surgery in 2010.
She chose to sit with him and nurture him mind, body and soul.
For that I too will forever be grateful.
She later travelled to Vietnam with my brother and the stories were larger than life.
Two friends truly absorbing culture through a common connection to a deeper reason for this life.
Jackie was not a regular in my life, but she will be forever in my heart through her deep impact and genuine love for this world and all that play a part.

Jacquie was the quiet one in the Macri family but she had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up the world. She left this world far too early, but if there is a heaven and if there are angels, she is their smiling with them and maybe teaching one of the angels how to parachute from an airplane.
